The porcelain fir tree welcomed the New Year in all its charm! It was completely installed on December 30, and the star was set up on December 31. Now the Tree is standing at the Church of Amvrosy Optinsky the Hieromonch.

Konstantin Likholat, director of Pallada Restoration and Construction Company, is going to an unusual tour through Europe. Driving his own car, he is going to travel to almost all countries of the Old World and visit main sights and landmarks related to the history of ceramics in Europe. The route includes factories, private workshops, museums, research centers, historic monuments, and all that is one way or another connected with the art of ceramics. Along the way, Konstantin Likholat is going to tell the European colleagues about the plans of founding a museum of ceramics in Saint Petersburg under the aegis of Pallada LLC.

Restoration of two tile stoves at the Local History Museum in Lomonosov, Russia, completed

Stove No.1 was constructed from remainders of numerous tiles that had been saved by the museum staff. Our masters were able to materialize the both ideas, and the stove consists of two parts, and if necessary is dismantled easily to change the exhibit. Mobility of the stove is provided with nest wheels.

Restoration of the clay tiles floor coating of the main entrance hall of the Moscow P.I.Tchaykovsky have been completed, as well as of the facing tiles of a stove in one of the rooms of the Conservatory (13, Bolshaya Nikitskaya Str., Moscow, Russia).

Restoration of the unique fireplace made at Rakkolajoki pottery factory (designed by architect A.A.Alexeyev) and partial reconstruction of the clay tile floor in the lobby of the banker A.G.Soloveychik's homestead (1911, design by E.F.Edel, Saint Petersburg) were completed.

Another project has been completed on restoration of two decorative stoves in the residential building of architect R.F.Melzer (1901�1904, architect R.F.Melzer)

Melzer, an architect of the Emperor's Court and a graduate of Saint Petersburg Academy of Arts was a brilliant architect of the modern style. Decor and furniture for Alexander Palace at Tsarskoe Selo, furniture for Livadia Palace, as well as for mansions of M.F.Kshesinskaya, the fencing of the Winter Palace, etc. were made according to his design.

Restoration of tile facing of the fireplace was accomplished, including reconstruction of some tiles in conformity with their historical analogues. The hatches of the fireplace were made of brass and heat-resistant glass at the production area of Pallada LLC; the clean-cut was also restored. The fireplace was dismantled and transported to the workshop of Pallada LLC to be restored; after restoration, the fireplace was reassembled onsite by stove-setters of Pallada LLC.

A long-waited opening of <a href="http://www.pallada-afina.ru/portfolio/section.php?SECTION_ID=536" title="�� 'Veronica'">Veronica Interior Show-Room</a> took place on last Friday, 28 October, in Stroimarket Vasileostrovskoy Mall (section 307 in 3, Zheleznovodskaya, Vasileostrovskaya metro station). Partners who took part in decorating and filling up of the show- room, as well as colleagues who specialize in interior design, and friends came to celebrate the event with Pallada, LLC. Veronica, the company director Konstantin Likholat’s daughter was the special guest of the event, as the show-room was named after her.
